The Burlington Micro Gallery is a groundbreaking mobile art space designed to make art accessible to everyone, anytime. Designed and managed by Catherine LeComte Lecce in partnership with Burlington’s Economic Developer, Melisa Tintocalis, and funded by a state grant for the arts, the gallery is a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in community-focused projects. Featuring a large viewing window, the gallery allows exhibitions to be enjoyed 24/7, free of charge, bringing creativity into everyday spaces. Each year, the gallery will showcase exhibitions highlighting the work of Massachusetts-based artists, offering a diverse range of perspectives and practices. In addition to the exhibitions, the gallery will host community events, fostering engagement and reimagining how and where art can be experienced. With a commitment to sustainability, plans are underway to solar power the gallery, aligning with contemporary environmental values. The Burlington Micro Gallery is more than just a space—it’s a beacon of inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation in the arts.
